Jaipur, Nov 20 (KNN) MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, while addressing the MSME conclave, acknowledged the much cried about issue of MSMEs that the banks “do not care much” about them and assured to resolve the issue.

“We are aware that banks do not care much about Micro & Small Industries, we are in process to resolve this,” Mishra said.

Credit flow is one of the major problems faced by the MSME sector.

For successful implementation of PMEGP the cooperation of Banks is must, Mishra said.

Mishra and state chief minister Vasundhara Raje today unveiled the Rajasthan MSME Policy 2015.

Highlighting the various initiatives to be taken under the policy, the Minister said, “Under the Incubation Centres, there is hands-on training on small machinery for people.”

He also said that the Ministry is planning to push the clustural development in Rajasthan even further through 6 clusters. Cluster development program (CDP) will be implemented in the state as per requirement of the State and the Common facility centres (CFCs) will be installed as per proposal received from state government.

Meanwhile, Raje inspired the MSMEs by saying, “Apple was started out of a local garage; Small Industries should take inspiration from this.”

She said that the government wants to celebrate huge Startup Festivals and create a massive Startup Village to encourage MSMEs.

“You tell us what you need to get skilled in, and we will get you trained with tailor made skilling,” she said

On the occasion, she also remembered Atal Bihari Vajpayee saying, “Today I want to remember Atal ji, who was the 1st PM to set up a separate MSME ministry in the Centre.”

She said that RIICO and Startup Oasis will set up a Start Up Village in Rajasthan, with the support of Rajasthan government.

We have to hand hold the micro enterprises become small, small become medium, and medium become big, she said.

“I'm sure the MSME Policy 2015 will prove to be a turnaround for Medium & Small Scale Industries,” she said adding that the intent is to provide a habitat that allows small units in State to attain competence levels that will make them globally competitive.

In Rajasthan, more than 90% of industries are MSMEs and are valuable components of supply chains of many large corporations, she said. (KNN Bureau)
