Chennai, May 19 (KNN) In a bid to give a fillip to micro small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector in the State, the Tamil Nadu Government is trying to rope in leading online retailers for marketing their products at national and international levels.
 
The state MSME department is in talks with the big online retailers to provide a platform to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of Tamil Nadu for their products.
 
According to Kumar Jayant, Secretary-MSME Department, the department has been in talks with large Indian e-tailers like SnapDeal in order to provide Tamil Nadu MSMEs with space on their online marketplace platforms. He said that the department will work through SIDCO for this.
 
Jayant said this on the side-lines of the launch of TANSTIA-FNF Service Centre’s training programme for MSMEs who want to get themselves online. (KNN Bureau)
