Trainers' training programme for entrepreneurship

Pune, April 19 (KNN) Under the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) of four government aided institutions, a trainers' training module will be on offer so that entrepreneurship can be taught on professional lines without any training fee.
 
The two week training will commence from April 24 here. There will be no training and registration fee. Also, accommodation will also be provided to those desiring to get enrolled.
 
The training has been sponsored by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.
 
On the completion of the training, the trainer will become a government certified faculty for entrepreneurship.

FDP is designed to train and develop professionals in entrepreneurship development so that they can act as resource persons in guiding and motivating young persons to take up entrepreneurship as a career. 

FDPs provide inputs on process and practice of entrepreneurship development, communication and inter-personal skills, creativity, problem solving, achievement motivation training, inputs on resource and knowledge industries. The training methodology includes case studies, group discussion, games and simulation exercise, field visits and classroom lectures. 

FDP aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for inculcating entrepreneurial values in students and guiding and monitoring their progress towards entrepreneurial career. (KNN/SD)
