Training programme for revival of sick units

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (KNN)  In an effort to reduce sickness of small industries and nurse others back to health, the Association of Incipient Sick Small Medium Enterprises (AISSME) is organising a training programme on revival of SMEs in Andhra Pradesh.

The one day workshop is to be held on February 6, 2014 at MSME-DI in Balanagar.

The workshop will highlight topics such as bank issues and Sarfaesi act, government policies and infrastructure issues, revival of sick units, formation of sick unit revival fund, impact of sickness on society and exit policy.

Various service departments like commissioner of industries, RBI, APCPDCL and commercial taxes are participating in the event.

MSME-DI, Hyderabad assists existing and prospective entrepreneurs by providing techno-managerial consultancy services and training in various areas.

The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a scheme called AP Small Scale Industries (APSSIRS) for effective revival of sick SSIs.

Under this scheme, viable sick units would be provided with various fiscal and non-fiscal concessions and relief’s both by various government departments or agencies and financial institutions depending upon the revival package approved by the members of Special Cell under APSSIRS scheme.  (KNN/ST)
