Training programme on electrical distribution system for projects

New Delhi, Oct 16 (KNN) MSME Training Development Centre, Agra is imparting a training course on electrical distribution to provide knowledge on electrical applications for any building or township, as also to improve employment potential of individuals.

The programme on designing electrical distribution system for a project will be held on October 18 and 19, 2014 at Tai Infotech Pvt Ltd, Noida.

The programme has been designed for individuals such as experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, facility management (maintenance wing) and B Tech students from mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural backgrounds.

The course module has been designed to train participants in preliminary electrical load and cost estimation, space planning and detailed distribution system designing, according to a notification.

It covers topic such as understanding town planning, preliminary electrical load calculation and cost estimation with thumb rules and group exercise and space planning and components of an 11 KV substation and function of protective devices.  It also includes voltage drop, fault current and their effect on electrical devices, power factor correction principles and earthing and lightning protection, constructing single line diagram.

The training programme will help electrical engineers who are going to be in great demand by infrastructure agencies like metro rail, airports, malls, real estate builders, government institutional buildings and offer many opportunities in Gulf countries. (KNN/ST)
