Hyderabad, Sept 29 (KNN)  National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME) is organising a training programme on ‘Promotional and Branding Strategies for Entrepreneurial Organisations’ to help business units to address challenges in marketing.

On the need for such a programme, “Entrepreneurial organisations face numerous challenges due to rapid pace of globalisation and integration of markets.  Research has revealed that marketing is one of the most prominent challenges being faced…  They face competition with bigger brands and find themselves unable to match the level of promotional activities of established counterparts,” said NI-MSME in an official notice.

The training programme is an attempt to help marketing support division officials to upgrade their knowledge about promotional and branding strategies with reference to entrepreneurial organisations, it said.

The week-long training programme is scheduled to be held here from October-13 to 17.

NI-MSME, an organisation of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India is a pioneer institute in the promotion of entrepreneurship development.  It is basically a trainers’ training institute and has trained several hundreds of officers both at the national and international level on several issues related to development and promotion of entrepreneurial organisations like micro, small and medium enterprises.  (KNN/ES)
