Training programme to help entrepreneurs start business of solar energy

New Delhi, Oct 8 (KNN) With an aim to provide necessary information to enter into the business of solar energy along with excellent networking opportunities, the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a three-day entrepreneurship development programme on solar energy.

The training program is designed for entrepreneurs looking at demystifying the business, finance, technology and regulatory landscape of solar energy, said a press notification.
The entrepreneurship development programme on solar energy is scheduled to be held from October 10 to 12 at NIESBUD campus.

The course content covers topics such as solar radiation and solar resource assessment, design of solar PV systems, operation and maintenance, plant operation issues, grid integration, developing a business plan and sales skills, selling solar home systems, case study, national solar mission, policies and incentives and more.

Individuals from various sectors like architects, consultants, SME entrepreneurs, professional engineers, electrical and civil contractors and businesses looking at diversification will be participating in the training programme.

The basic objectives of NIESBUD are promotion and development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) including enhancement of their competitiveness through various activities. (KNN/ST)
