Two day MSME job fair in Hyderabad from Oct 19 to attract 2,000 job seekers

Hyderabad, Oct 18 (KNN) Creating a common platform to address the issue of skill shortage and create employment opportunities, a MSME job fair is being organised here on October 19-20.

Private sector TMI Group, National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) and the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) have joined hands to conduct the programme.

The job fair will be inaugurated by Union MSME minister Kalraj Mishra. The fair targets job seekers with 0-7 years of work experience and ex-service men with more than 15 years of experience primarily for positions in the entry-level and supervisory and managerial levels.

 Around 40 MSMEs and 2,000 job seekers are expected to attend the fair.

 M Chandrasekhar Reddy, director general of ni-msme, said, "We are focusing on creating a conducive environment for MSMEs to grow, and addressing the talent shortage is an important step in that direction."

TMI Group executive chairman T Muralidharan said till now, "the biggest problem facing the sector is the lack of common platform for MSMEs and the potential candidates to meet." (KNN/SD)
