Union Minister Narayan Rane unveils MSME built ITRS for passenger security at Goa airport

New Delhi, Jan 5 (KNN) Union Minister for MSME, Narayan Rane on Wedenesday virtually inaugurated Intelligent Tray Retrieval System (ITRS) which is an Artificial Intelligence based fully automatic machine that helps in providing enhanced passenger security with advanced screening technology.

The ITRS is manufactured by M/s SJK Innovations Pvt. Ltd, a MSME-Make in India Company at MOPA (GOA) International airport, said a press release.

The Minister reiterated the constant endeavour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide world-class infrastructure and transport facilities across the country.

Speaking about the infrastructure and transport facilities built for Goa over the time, he called this another heartening point that the ITRS system installed at MOPA is 'Made in India' by an MSME company and is also "Patented in India".

“It is a matter of double pride and happiness for us,” said the minister.

The machine is equipped with image analysis software with advanced tools that makes it easy for the screener to take correct decisions against every baggage.

It also contains a dedicated module for the high threat baggage’s which needs immediate attention at the airport.  (KNN Bureau)
