UP units ask MSME Minister to resolve issues pertaining to taxation, credit

New Delhi, Jun 4 (KNN) The UP MSMEs, which are already reeling under power crisis, have urged the union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra to resolve their long pending issues related to taxation, credit, etc.

A delegation under the aegis of Indian Industries Association (IIA) met Mishra here recently and discussed their issues.

In the meeting, IIA President Pramod Miglani presented an overview of MSMEs and the contribution of the sector to the economy of India and UP.

On the other hand, Chamber general secretary Neeraj Singhal briefed the minister about the yeoman's contribution by IIA towards MSMEs since 1985. He also suggested that a road map for the development of MSMEs be prepared to resolve teething problems, reports media.

MSME Minister has assured IIA that the Centre was supportive of enhancing the competitiveness of the sector for a larger contribution to the nation's economic growth, the association said. (KNN Bureau)
