Bhubaneswar, May 27 (KNN) Explaining its vision the Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) has assured to provide ease of doing business (EoDB) for Odisha MSMEs by bridging the coordination between industry and high commissions. 

During a meeting with Arun Kumar Sahu, High Commissioner of India to Port of Spain/Trinidad & Tobago, UCCI President Brahma Mishra reiterated the organisation’s mission. 

“We aim to have direct coordination with and act as the bridge between coordination with  for ease of doing business in the Caribbean countries and the North America’s,” he added. 

Sahu gave a positive response to UCCI and said that he is more than willing to intervene with the American part in coordinating and ensuring handholding of the new entrants in business and trade between both the countries.

UCCI chief requested for a roundtable to be arranged in Port of Spain and one also in New York to promote the Odisha MSME sector successfully to establish their brand name. 

Highlighting the benefit Odisha can avail as there are as many as 11 High Commissioners who are Odia, Sahu said UCCI should take up the responsibility for the development of state’s industrial sector. 

Sahu mentioned that to Odisha’s benefit, there are as many as 11 High Commissioners who are Odia. Hence, the coordination work should be taken up by the UCCI for the State’s industrial advance.  (KNN Bureau)
