Vendor Development Meet being organized in Thane from Jan 20

Thane, Jan 18 (KNN) In order to bridge the gap between suppliers and buyers, a 3-day vendor development meet is being held here from January 20, 2017.

Madhusudan Khambete, President of Chamber of Small Industry Associations (CSIA), said such meets benefit the MSME sector as they get to directly interact with their buyers and know their requirements.

After the success of first meet recently organized, the meet is being organised for the second time in the city.

Khambete claimed that in the last meet over 100 industries had participated.

He also said that this time the 'VenDex-2017' and 'MSME Manthan-2017' will have participation of industries in the private sector besides those from the public sectors.

The three day meet will include several activities related to the industries. Sessions will also be held by Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) and Goods and service Tax (GST) during the meet for the benefit of small and medium industries, Khambete added.

The meet is being jointly organized by the Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Ministry, MSME Development Agency, COSIA, Udyog Bharati and Chamber of Small Industry Associations. (KNN)
