Vendor Development Program for MSMEs on March 22 in Surat

Surat, Mar 14 (KNN) The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) of Southern Gujarat Zone in association with Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) is organizing Vendor Development Program for MSMEs in Surat.
The aim of the program is to further strengthen the goal of PSEs of reaching the 25% procurement mark, developing a strong supply network of OEMs and therefore generating more business opportunities for MSMEs with focus on SC/ST entrepreneurs.
The conference will include roundtable workshops cum B2B meetings with Central Public Enterprises (CPEs)/Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
During the event, presentations from various PSEs/OEMs on their procurement policies and procedures, deliberations and discussions will be held.
It would put forth the vendor registration process, different products and services acquired by the CPSEs/OEMs and also sensitize MSMEs on the requirements of CPSEs in building value chain with MSME under distinct categories.
The sessions will be followed by B2B meetings between the procurement heads of the PSEs/OEMs and MSMEs.
So far, with the active support of Ministry of MSME, 6 sessions of Vendor Development Program were already held at various locations in India. (KNN/YV)
