Vishakhapatnam MP Advocates For Dedicated MSME Director In Andhra Pradesh

Visakhapatnam, Aug 3 (KNN) Visakhapatnam Member of Parliament M Sribharat met with Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Jitan Ram Manjhi in New Delhi on Friday to discuss key issues concerning the MSME sector in Andhra Pradesh.

During the meeting, MP Sribharat urged the appointment of a dedicated MSME director for Andhra Pradesh. Currently, a single director based in Hyderabad oversees operations for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The MP emphasised that a separate director would ensure focused attention on the state's MSME sector.

Additionally, Sribharat invited Minister Manjhi to inaugurate the new MSME building in Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam.

The facility, constructed by the Central Government in 2022, is expected to provide significant benefits to the local MSME sector and improved working conditions for staff currently operating from an older building.

The MP underscored the importance of enhanced support from the Central government to bolster the MSME sector in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in growing urban centres like Visakhapatnam.

This meeting highlights ongoing efforts to strengthen the MSME infrastructure and administration in Andhra Pradesh, with potential implications for the sector's growth and development in the region.
