Will strengthen MSMEs to create more jobs, Priyanka Gandhi promises Manipur

New Delhi, Feb 16 (KNN) Right ahead of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Elections, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has promised to enhance the MSME sector in order to create jobs.

Gandhi criticised the policies of the central government stating that it only benefits few top industrialists. 

Our policies aim at helping MSMEs grow by creating opportunities for every business size, she added.

“Unemployment is a major issue prevailing in Manipur due to which people are migrating to other states. We will make sure that sectors such as tourism are given full support which is required coupled with promoting small businesses and MSMEs,” the Congress Secretary General said. 

She emphasised on the role of tourism sector, handicrafts for the growth and employment generation in Manipur.

The elections will be held from 28th February to 5th March in two phases. (KNN Bureau)
