Workshop on Intellectual Property to create awareness about innovation power

New Delhi, Feb 5 (KNN) With a view to creating an efficient intellectual property management system in the country, the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) and Ennoble IP (the IP Excellence of Accures Legal) is organising a IP Auditor Training cum Workshop Program here to create awareness about the industrial aspects of audit.
The five day programme starting here on February 11 will also offer a business case for SMEs by providing a realistic view on their IP portfolio.
The workshop will focus on the important legal aspects giving an overview of the most important intellectual property rights for the MSMEs.
The IP awareness workshop aims at establishing IP awareness amongst the workshop participants to protect their innovation for their firms.
The workshop would cater to professionals from IP fraternity and MSMEs. It is also meant for students with Science, Engineering, Management or Commerce background; consultants and lawyers.
IPFC a centre which is mandated to offer a wide range of intellectual property services such patents, trademark, copyrights, industrial designs, IP audits and geographical indications to MSMEs in a convenient and cost-effective way was established with the support of the Ministry of MSMEs under the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme.
The centre is being managed by the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME).
The programme will cover topics such as - overview of intangible assets; benefits of strategic IP management; introduction to IP audit; exposure to industry through field visits etc. (KNN Bureau)
