AIM, STPI Hold GCC Conclave to Strengthen Industry-Startup Collaboration

New Delhi, Jun 30 (KNN) The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), in partnership with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), organised the GCC Conclave on Innovation 2026 in Bengaluru to strengthen collaboration between Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups, incubators and the broader innovation ecosystem.

The conclave brought together representatives from leading GCCs, technology companies, startups, incubators and policymakers to explore industry-led innovation and partnerships across AIM's programmes, including Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs), Atal Incubation Centres (AICs), Atal Community Innovation Centres (ACICs) and the proposed Atal Acceleration Centres for Scale-up of Startups (AACESS).

Discussions focused on strengthening industry participation through mentorship, technology validation, pilot projects, innovation challenges, market access and accelerator programmes aimed at supporting startups and commercialising new technologies.

A key focus of the conclave was the proposed AACESS Industrial Accelerator Programme, which aims to help growth-stage startups access industrial testing environments, pilot opportunities, industry mentorship and commercialisation support.

AIM invited GCCs and industry partners to contribute to the programme's design and implementation.

The event also explored collaboration between AIM and STPI to strengthen support for innovators, startups and technology enterprises through their respective incubation and entrepreneurship networks.
