Govt Further Extends Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme By 15 Days To September 15, 2026

New Delhi, Sep 1 (KNN) The Centre has extended the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026) by another 15 days, giving companies additional time to complete pending statutory filings.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), in an order, said the extension follows representations from stakeholders seeking more time to comply with statutory requirements.

The scheme, which allows companies to clear pending filings on the MCA-21 registry, will now remain operational until September 15, 2026.

The scheme's other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.

The latest extension marks the second extension of the compliance window. The earlier extension was granted following disruptions to online filing services caused by a fire at the MCA data centre, allowing companies additional time to complete pending statutory filings.

The deadline was initially set for July 15 and was later extended to August 31, 2026.

The ministry said the latest extension was approved in view of representations received from various stakeholders.
