Services Exports Rise 13.4% To USD 38.25 Bn In July 2026; Surplus At USD 17.65 Bn: RBI
New Delhi, Sep 2 (KNN) India’s services exports rose 13.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to USD 38.25 billion in July 2026, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Services imports grew at a faster pace, rising 19.1 per cent YoY to USD 20.61 billion during the month. India consequently recorded a services trade surplus of around USD 17.65 billion in July, ANI reported.
Exports Rise 5.2 per cent Month-on-Month
In June, services exports stood at USD 36.37 billion, up 13.3 per cent YoY, while imports rose 16.2 per cent to USD 18.48 billion.
On a month-on-month basis, services exports increased 5.2 per cent in July, while imports grew 11.5 per cent.
The RBI data showed services exports at USD 37.02 billion in April and USD 33.36 billion in May. Imports stood at USD 18.42 billion and USD 17.64 billion, respectively, during the two months.
April-July Services Trade Surplus at Nearly USD 70 Billion
During April-July 2026, India’s services exports totalled USD 145 billion, while imports stood at around USD 75.14 billion, resulting in a cumulative services trade surplus of nearly USD 69.86 billion.
The RBI said the April-July figures are provisional and that year-on-year growth rates have been revised based on balance of payments statistics.
