200 international exhibitors to showcase products in Dubai textiles fair

New Delhi, Oct 13 (KNN) Around 200 international exhibitors including manufacturers and their agents who specialise in textiles and high street clothing, designer, industrial and various segments of the industry will be showcasing their products in the upcoming International Textile Fair in Dubai.
The UAE’s ‘Trade only’ fair that will showcase pre-collection spring-summer 2015 and autumn-winter highlights is scheduled to be held on November 3 and 4 in Dubai.
The display products cover different types of fabric for fashion, home and industrial textiles, textile raw materials, natural fabrics, synthetic fibres, plant fibres and assistants.
Also to be exhibited are design and production systems such as computer aided design and production system, textile colour cards, samples and CDs.
The visitors’ profile consists of fabric importers, distributors and wholesalers, garment exporters and manufacturers, buying houses and agents, local and international retail chains, department stores, apparel brands, fashion designers and merchandisers, design studios and institutes.
Besides UAE, buyers from KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan and other African countries will be visiting the grand event.
In the recently years, the textile and clothing market in UAE is experiencing stellar growth on the back of rising consumer spending and a surge in tourists.
The country is now becoming the world’s leading centre for textile industry automation with the presence of about 150 apparel manufacturing companies, accounting for nearly 5.5 per cent of world’s annual textile and clothing sales. (KNN/ST)
