Bareilly, Aug 28 (KNN)  Three mega clusters to service units making kites, threads and zardozi will be set up in Rohilkhand in Uttar Pradesh, according to Union Minister of State for Textiles, Santosh Gangwar.

Gangwar said this after laying the foundation stone for the first industrial township here, according to a Business Standard report.

The move is likely to pave the way for several industries to set up their units here and in the vicinity with the help of private players.

Situated in North West UP, Rohilkhand has been named after the Rohilla Afghan tribes.

Also speaking at the foundation laying ceremony, Minister of State for Small Scale Industries and Export Promotion, Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar, said that all facilities, including exemption in stamp duty, separate feeder for power supply and drainage, would be made available in the township.  (KNN Bureau)
