A 10-day handloom & handicrafts expo in Nagpur from Oct 7

Nagpur, Sept 30 (KNN) South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) is organising an exhibition of handloom and handicrafts in Nagpur at its premises for 10 days from October 7.

Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the exhibition which is scheduled to take place in association with Bharat Vastram.

Targeting the festive season buyers, the expo will display and sell an array of traditional, ethnic cloth, garments and decorative handicraft & artifacts.

The artisans expect to attract the youth in buying handloom clothes, sarees and dress materials to infuse them in their modern fashion wear.

The expo is being organised after a hiatus of two years due to the covid-19 pandemic and will provide great opportunity for Nagpur and adjoining areas.  (KNN Bureau)
