Amazon to launch ‘Great Indian Festival’ from October 17, 2020

New Delhi, Oct 7 (KNN ) The much awaited ‘Great Indian Festival’ bonanza by Amazon is to begin with the first shardiya navratra pn 17th Oct 2020 with prime members getting access  24 hours earlier.

Over  6.5 lakh Small & Medium Businesses (SMBs) are to offer over 40 million products to customers on Amazon India website. Over one lac local shops and Kiranas have also been enabled to serve during the festive season.

Elaborating on the GIF, Manish Tiwary, Vice President, Amazon India said, “This year’s Great Indian Festival is an opportunity for our sellers and partners to reach millions of customers across the country. Our sellers are excited and expect this to help them in accelerating their business. For our customers, our aim is to help them find everything they need during the festive season and deliver it safely to them.”

Customers  can shop for deals every day across a wide range of categories including smartphones, large appliances & TVs, consumer electronics home & kitchen products, fashion& beauty, grocery and more using one of the six languages of their choice – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Battered with low sales because of Covid during much of 2020, SMB suppliers are upbeat:  More than 74% sellers are optimistic about recovery of business and 78% are positive about increase in visibility of products.

Besides millions of traditional products, a wide range of products & appliances would showcased such as air purifiers, TVs, Washing machines, Dishwashers etc.

As all transactions are supported by a GST invoice, MSMEs and businesses can also buy to fulfill their gifting requirement for clients, customers and employees.
