Auto industry gets electronic platform to exchange data

Auto Dx which has been set up by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), has been launched during the Auto Expo 2014 which starts today, said a report.
The B2B platform which would be assistive for exchange of information on various logistic and financial transaction, was pilot tested by 10 companies, it said.
SIAM is a society that works closely with all the concerned stake holders and participates in formation of rules, regulations and policies related to automobile industries.
ACMA is involved in trade promotion, technology upgradation, quality enhancement and collection and dissemination of information which had made the association a vital catalyst for auto industry’s development. (KNN Bureau)
