Automobile exports from India soar 35.9% in FY22: Govt

New Delhi, Feb 4 (KNN) Minister of State in Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel said on Friday that India has exported 56,17,246 units of automobiles in financial year 2021-22.
It marks an increase of 35.9 per cent from 41,34,047 sold overseas in FY21.
Of this, export of passenger vehicles, including cars increased to 5,77,875 in 2021-22 from 4,04,397 in 2020-21, registering a growth of 42.9 per cent.
While those of commercial vehicles rose 83.36 per cent to 92,297 units in 2021-22.
The minister emphasised the multiple measures taken by government to promote India’s exports. (KNN Bureau)
