As an ASP Avalara will provide an automated system for businesses to upload invoice data of sales and purchases, reconcile and automatically generate their GST reports. These GST returns will then be automatically filed on behalf of the filer with GSTN via GSP. Avalara as an ASP will act as a link between the taxpayers and the GSPs.

An IT ecosystem through a network of GSPs and ASPs will help corporations and tax consultants achieve data-based compliance under the new GST regime, said the company.
