New Delhi, Aug 6 (KNN)  To recognise the achievements of electronics/IT Hardware manufacturing (ESDM) companies in India, Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) is inviting entries for the ELCINA-EFY awards for excellence in electronics hardware manufacturing and services.   

The last date for receipt of entries is August-8.

Outstanding achievements in research and development, exports, quality, environment management, business excellence and entrepreneurial excellence will be recognised through the awards.

As far as eligibility is concerned, all electronics/IT hardware companies with manufacturing and/or technical design and services (such as electronic design of products, electronic circuits as well as test and certification) based in India are eligible to apply for the Awards. Companies engaged in core R&D and / or Technical Support activities are also eligible to apply.

ELCINA was established in 1967 when India's Electronics industry was still in its infancy. Since then, it has been well known as an interactive forum for electronics and IT manufacturers.
 
Apart from the basic objective of promoting hardware manufacturing through active representation and advice to the Government, ELCINA has been networking with national and international technical institutions and business promotion bodies to further the interests of its members.
 
Today, in an increasingly liberalised environment, there is greater focus on professional and value-added services rendered by the Association to the Electronics and IT Community.  (KNN/ES)
