Axis Finance Unveils ‘Drishti’ Platform To Support Retail And MSME Lending

New Delhi, Jul 27 (KNN) Axis Finance Limited (AFL) has launched a configurable digital platform, Axis Finance Drishti, aimed at improving credit decision-making and strengthening risk oversight across its retail and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) lending operations.

In its first phase, the company has deployed the in-house Business Rules Engine (BRE) for products including personal loans, business loans, loan against property, and Disha home loans.

In a release, Axis Finance said, “It is expected to drive operational excellence by enabling faster, smarter and more scalable credit decisioning, improving efficiency while delivering a more seamless and frictionless loan journey,” ANI reported.

Focus on Speed, Automation and Analytics

According to the release, the platform integrates underwriting workflows, data-driven insights, and statistical scorecards to enable automated and policy-led credit assessments. It also supports real-time decision-making and dynamic policy implementation through integration with multiple data sources, including alternative data.

The system is designed to facilitate both straight-through processing (STP) and assisted credit journeys, with an emphasis on improving operational efficiency and customer experience.

Company Highlights Operational Benefits

Axis Finance noted that the platform is expected to enable faster, more consistent, and scalable credit decisions, contributing to a more streamlined loan process.

Sai Giridhar, Managing Director and CEO, AFL, said, “With the launch of Axis Finance Drishti, we are strengthening our ability to deliver faster, more consistent credit decisions by embedding intelligence, advance analytics and automated credit workflows into our core decisioning frameworks, while maintaining strong governance and risk discipline.”

“As we scale, investments in such capabilities will be critical to enhancing customer experience, improving portfolio quality and supporting sustainable portfolio growth,” Giridhar added.

Ongoing Technology-Led Initiatives

The release also highlighted that the launch builds on several initiatives introduced over the past year, including ABC scorecards to enhance objectivity in credit assessments and an AI-assisted quality monitoring framework for collections aimed at ensuring fair customer interactions.
