Haridwar, Nov 28 (KNN)  Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has plans to procure various equipment, consumables and spares from manufacturers of quality equipment for their heavy electrical equipment plant (HEEP) here.

Among the items BHEL in Uttarakhand seeks to procure are – toolings, steel, turbo generator, gas turbine, steam turbine, insulation, fasteners, defence items, etc.
Manufacturers should be able to provide quality products in strict adherence to technical, quality and delivery requirements of specifications and drawings.

BHEL prefers to deal with the manufacturer directly. In order to facilitate the dealing it has a B2B portal for vendors where all required information is available which includes standard terms and conditions, comparisons of rates quoted by vendors, vendors against any enquiry and product details.

Vendors may also select items and complete registration process online.

Through this, BHEL Hardwar offers a challenging opportunity to high performing manufacturers of quality equipment to be a partner in mutually supportive material procurement activity.

A leading multidimensional engineering organisation, BHEL has a successful track record of having installed equipment for over 90,000 MW of power generation - for utilities, captive, and industrial users in India and abroad.

BHEL Haridwar has two manufacturing plants - Heavy Electricals Equipment Plant (HEEP) and Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP). It also has a Pollution Control Research Institute, PCRI.

The Heavy Electricals Equipment Plant is one of the major manufacturing units of BHEL. The core business of HEEP includes design and manufacture of large size steam and gas turbines, turbo generators, heat exchangers, condensers and auxiliaries.

The Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP) is engaged in manufacture of large size Castings and Forgings of various types of steels like alloy steels, creep resistant steel and supercritical grade steel.

The Pollution Control Research Institute (PCRI) provides services in the field of Environmental Management and Pollution Control in the areas of air, water, noise and solid waste.   (KNN/ES)
