Biz opportunities for small industry at global steel expo

The second edition of India Steel 2015 is scheduled to be held from April 16 to 18, 2015 at Mumbai Exhibition Centre with focus on stainless steel.
Organised by the Ministry of Steel and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the exhibition will be held under the theme “Fostering 360 development of India steel industry: From sourcing to delivery”.
The global event has an objective to disseminate knowledge about the developments and best practices in analysis, design and construction methodology pertaining to Steel amongst the users, said an official release.
The global trade show will present the latest products, technology, machinery and equipment, applications and developments in the Indian steel industry.
Participants can avail benefits such as B2B meeting with international buyers, doing business or entering into strategic business tie-ups.
More than 200 exhibitors, including steel producers, user segment like construction industry, railways, automobile manufacturers and plant and machinery manufacturers will be showcasing their merchandise during the event.
There will be concurrent conference with brainstorming sessions on various aspects of steel at the three-day exhibition.
Visitors’ profile includes various sections of industry like primary steel producers, government procurement departments, ship manufacturers, defence and security, OEMs, logistic and packaging industry, EPC contractor, railway vendors, infrastructure sector and power generation companies.
India Steel is an initiative to provide a platform to all the participants, delegates, business visitors and other key decision makers from the Steel and other related industry to interact and explore new business avenues.
