Blockchain Technology to bring transparency in the courier industry: CourierHome

New Delhi, Aug 7 (KNN) To create transparency & digital transformation in the courier industry, Delhi-based start-up ‘CourierHome’ is planning to bring blockchain technology & ALIS (Advanced Logistics Intelligence System) for disrupting the logistics industry in India.

In a press release, CourierHome said with this it aims to create transparency of all documents and transactions across the freight landscape, ultimately increasing the efficiency, agility and innovation of supply chains.

With the implementation of the new-age technologies the entire courier process will get automated and thus make it more efficient.

The press releases added that the customers can book from their website or APP available in Google play store with pickup extending to all over India. The highlight of the service is that for example a customer sitting in Delhi, can arrange pickup from Andaman and Nicobar and get deliver it across anywhere in the world.

The customer can track their order and get updates directly through the app. Courierhome, adopting these new-age technologies- AI, ML, and Blockchain  is making the logistics industry redefine today’s behaviour and practices, taking operation from reactive to proactive, planning from forecast to prediction, processes from manual to autonomous, and courier services from standardized to personalized.

    Great article! Blockchain technology will indeed increase end-to-end visibility and address hey problems in supply-chain, particularly related to edible food products and in-demand pharmaceutical supply. It will increase transparency and accountability. What needs to be seen is the cost of developing systems that can leverage blockchain.
