Business of approximately Rs 400-500 cr anticipated for solar companies at North India Solar Summit

Lucknow, Mar 6 (KNN) The three days North India Solar Summit was successfully organized in the city in which business of approximately Rs 400-500 crore has been anticipated to be generated for the Solar companies who have displayed their products/services in this summit.

Approximately 7000 visitors came to visit Indian Industries Association during the Summit.

Pravir Kumar, Chairman Board of Revenue, Government of U.P. who inaugurated the event recommended that next year the name should be changed to “All India Solar Summit”.

Justice Mahendra Dayal, High Court Lucknow Bench said that hydro electric power plant and thermo electric power plant are the two main sources of generating electricity in India as on date. Today Sun is on the verge of becoming the prime source of generation of power. Today 9000 MW of power is being generated via solar and people are becoming aware of the benefits of usage of this alternative source of generation of power.

Manish Goel, President IIA in his welcome address said that this time North India Solar Summit has been successful in bringing out new technologies and initiatives of the companies. This time a record of approximately 7000 visitors came to visit IIA in NISS.

Feedbacks were collected from the participants for providing better services to the exhibitors next time. (KNN Bureau)
