CAIT to hold round table conference on e-commerce policy on Aug 8

New Delhi, Aug 7 (KNN) In a bid to conduct an open and free discussion on a draft of e-commerce policy which is presently under consideration of the government, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) is organizing a round table conference tomorrow.

The conference on “E-Commerce Policy-A Game Changer” will be organized on August 8 in the national capital in association with several other leading organizations.

The draft, however, lacks various important fundamentals of e-commerce which are to be included, said CAIT.

With this meeting, recommendations emerged will be submitted to Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, said CAIT.

CAIT has been in forefront demanding a policy and a regulator for e-commerce since past two years.

The union government had last week brought a draft on e-commerce policy which is under consideration by stakeholders.
