CAMIT urges Maha govt to create Refinery & Petrochemical Complex in Vidarbha region
Nagpur, April 25 (KNN) Chamber of Associations of Maharashtra Industry & Trade (CAMIT) has urged the Maharashtra government to set up a Refinery & Petrochemical Complex (RPC) in Vidarbha part of Maharashtra for the development of the region.
During a meeting with Sanjay Raut, MP - Rajya Sabha, a delegation of CAMIT requested him to propose the state government to establish a RPC in the Vidarbha region.
Dr. Dipen Agrawal President CAMIT appealed him to pitch it to the state government and move the proposal to the union government for support and assistance.
Agrawal led the delegation and submitted a MoU pressing on issues such as excessive hike in rent by municipal corporation and harassment by Local Body Tax department across the state under the garb of assessment.
Raut assured to discuss the issue with the Chief Minister to take the proposal ahead and also assured to resolve the other issues mentioned in the MoU. (KNN Bureau)
