New Delhi, April 27 (KNN) The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has set April 30, 2022 as the last day to opt for the Quarterly Return Monthly Payment (QRMP) scheme.

Small enterprises, having an annual aggregate turnover upto Rs 5 crore in the preceding financial year, are eligible to avail the scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to enhance ease of doing business (EoDB) for small enterprises.

Taxpayers already availing QRMP scheme are not required to reapply for the scheme, said the board.

CBIC introduced QRMP scheme under Goods and Services Tax (GST) to help small taxpayers whose turnover is less than Rs 5 crore and it allows the taxpayers to file GSTR-3B on a quarterly basis and pay tax every month. (KNN Bureau)
