Centre to soon announce location for setting up mega Textile Park

New Delhi, May 31 (KNN) The central government is expected to soon announce the location details of where a new mega textile park will be built under the PM MITRA scheme. 

The announcement is likely to come in a month's time, as per Zee Business. 

Total 18 proposals have been received till now  from 13 states and a preliminary scrutiny has also been done. 

After completes inspections at all the sites and consultation with the industry a meeting was held last week between  DPIIT, NITI Aayog and Ministry of Textiles. 

The government intends to create 7 mega textile parks under PM MITRA scheme and has made provisions of Rs 4445 crore for it.  (KNN Bureau)
