Commerce Min Goyal calls for self-regulation in startup ecosystem

New Delhi, April 30 (KNN) Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has called for  more self-regulation to have transparency in the startup ecosystem. 

Emphasising on better standards and benchmarks, he stressed on further strengthening of ethics and corporate governance norms in startups.

Speaking at the Global Unicorn Summit organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) he urged the startups to not move to countries having favourable tax environment and rather incorporate and list in India. 

He assured full support of the government in resolving issues and problems faced by the startups. 

In order to create sustainable wealth, the minister also asked startups to think in long-term manner. (KNN Bureau)
