Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal to launch Foreign Trade Policy on Sept 29 in New Delhi

New Delhi, Sept 23 (KNN) Union Minister for Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal will release the much anticipated Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2022-27 on September 29, 2022 in New Delhi.

The FTP is formulated for five years at a time to provide a framework of rules and procedures for exports and imports and set of facilitation measures for promoting exports.

It will play a significant role in promoting exports along with making imports more focused and rational moving towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Anurpriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Som Prakash, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry will also be present at the release of FTP.

The event is expected to be attended by 10 to 15 prominent industry leaders belonging to the Industry body and Export Council.

Foreign Trade Policy is a set of guidelines and instructions established by the DGFT in matters related to the import and export of goods in India.  (KNN Bureau)
