Commerce Ministry organizing seminar on ‘From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle & Reuse’ for MSMEs

Kolkata, Feb 10 (KNN) Commerce Ministry is organizing a seminar for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on the theme ‘From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle & Reuse’.

Every year February 12 would be observed all over the country as the National Productivity Day and the period February 12 – 18 would be observed as National Productivity week.

On this occasion the seminar is being jointly organized by National Productivity Council under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India and Federation of Small & Medium Industries ((FOSMI), West Bengal.

The seminar would be held on February 15, 2017 at Golden Parkk Hotel, 13, Ho-Chi-Minh Sarani, Kolkata.

National Productivity Council (NPC) is national level organization to promote productivity culture in India. Established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in 1958, it is an autonomous, multipartite, non-profit organization with equal representation from employers’ & workers’ organizations and Government, apart from technical & professional institutions and other interests.

NPC is a constituent of the Tokyo-based Asian Productivity Organisation (APO), an Inter-Governmental Body, of which the Government of India is a founder member. (KNN Bureau)
