Conclave on Challenge of Global Standards – Adopt or Perish to be held on June 23-24

New Delhi, June 9 (KNN) The 3rd National Standards Conclave with the theme "Challenge of Global Standards – Adopt or Perish" is being held in the national capital on June 23-24.

The conclave would be inaugurated by Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The event is being organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

Commerce Secretary, Rita A. Teaotia together with high level representatives from the Government will also be present and would address the valedictory session on the second day.

Every year, the National Standards Conclave is organized to generate awareness amongst industry members and other stakeholders about the importance of "Standards" in the changing scenario of Global Trade. 

This two day conclave will be well represented by senior officials from Central and State Governments, standards setting bodies, export promotion agencies and manufacturing and service providing organizations together with international experts, academicians and experts in related fields.
