Conference on e-commerce services- enhancing rural entrepreneurship through CSCs

New Delhi, Dec 5 (KNN) Union Minister of Communication and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad will be inaugurating a national level conference on ‘E-Commerce Services: Enhancing Rural Entrepreneurship through CSCs’ today.
This is an initiative by CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. (CSC-SPV) to create a platform to enhance rural entrepreneurship through CSCs, an official release said.
Nearly 500 village level entrepreneurs of CSCs from across the country are expected to attend the event.
CSC SPV in association with e-Commerce partners is enabling sale, purchase and last mile delivery network to offer a level playing field in logistics for rural markets. The aim of this conference is to bring all stakeholders on a common platform to discuss, deliberate and share best practices.
The event will be attended by senior officers from Department of Electronics and IT and Department of Post. The two departments of the Ministry of IT have joined hands to enable last mile delivery of services.
The event has received tremendous response from the e-Commerce industry. Major Indian e-Commerce and logistics companies have confirmed their presence. (KNN Bureau)
