Consultative Committee under Labour Ministry discusses 'Up-Gradation of ESIC Dispensaries and Hospitals'

New Delhi, Dec 2 (KNN) The Consultative Committee attached to the Ministry of Labour and Employment held discussions over “Up-gradation of ESIC Dispensaries and Hospitals”.

The meeting was chaired by Bandaru Dattatreya, the Minister of State (IC), Labour & Employment and U Venkateswarlu, Finance Commissioner, ESIC made a detailed presentation on the issue.

The Committee Members suggested setting up of new medical facilities in emerging labour intensive areas and keeping members informed about meetings of Hospital Development Committees.

The Minister assured the members that the suggestions would be considered and also urged the members to cooperate in the endeavours of the Ministry. (KNN Bureau)
