Craft heritage exhibition showcases India's unique handicrafts

‘Craft Heritage’ being held in the city from June 10 to 20, was inaugurated by Textiles Secretary Zohra Chatterji at CCICL showroom yesterday.
The exhibition has on display the finest crafts from across the country under one roof. The collection comprises handcrafted furniture, cabinets, boxes and pitaras, traditional paintings from Rajasthan, coordinated home linen, blue pottery from Jaipur, stone pottery from Khurja, as well as fine bronze artefacts and statues.
The products were sourced from weavers, master weavers, artisans, craft-persons and master craftsmen and national awardees, shilp gurus and clusters.
CCICL retails authentic Indian handicrafts and handlooms through its showrooms in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. (KNN/ST)
