Mumbai, May 29 (KNN) Global enterprise solutions firm SAP, which banks heavily on the SME sector will weave more partnerships in India, the top company officials said here.

"By 2015, at least 40 per cent of our software revenue will come from partners", senior vice president, global partner operations, SAP Asia Pacific and Japan, Anthony McMahon said.

Nearly 80 per cent of SAP' customers in the country come from the SME sector.

Recently, in an interview to media Managing Director of SAP India, Ravi Chauhan said that SAP India has come down to mid-size and small organisations which are leveraging its technological solutions to improve their business. He said that the company’s success in the country rests on its ability to convince small businesses to rent software and computer infrastructure through the cloud rather than the traditional way of providing on premise business solutions.
