DC-MSME asks industry associations to educate, persuade MSMEs to extend social security benefits to employees

New Delhi, Feb 13 (KNN) The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) wants the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to extend social benefits to all the eligible employees as part of duty towards legal compliance as well as secure workforce.

In this regard, EPFO had written to DC-MSME to disseminate the information through industry associations amongst their MSME members.

In a communication to the associations, DC-MSME has asked the industry associations to educate and persuade the MSMEs to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees as part of duty towards legal compliance as well as a secure workforce thereby contributing in nation building.”

It has asked the associations to take necessary action in the matter. (KNN Bureau)
