Aero India 2023 to be held in Bengaluru from Feb 13-17

Bengaluru, Jan 9 (KNN) The 14th edition of Aero India 2023 organised by the Ministry of Defence is all set to be held in Bengaluru from February 13 to 17.

Aero India will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of information, ideas, and new developments in the aviation industry. In addition to giving a fillip to the domestic aviation industry, it would further the cause of Make in India, the Ministry said recently.

Speaking at an ambassadors' conclave on Monday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, Aero India-2023 would, hopefully, surpass the benchmark set in the previous edition with a larger presence of exhibitors and representatives of our friendly countries.

The defence minister pointed out that India’s national efforts towards ‘Make in India’ are neither isolationist nor are they just meant for the country alone.

He also said that India does not believe in a hierarchical conception of a world order where a few countries are considered superior to others.

“India’s international relations are guided by the very essence of human equality and dignity,” the minister said at the conclave to brief ambassadors about the upcoming Aero India, billed as Asia’s biggest aerospace exhibition.

A total of 657 exhibitors have so far registered for the aerospace exhibition. With 588 being Indian exhibitors and 69 foreign investors from 24 countries.  (KNN Bureau)
