DGFT amends proforme of EUCs for grant of permission for export of items under SCOMET Control List

New Delhi, Apr 23 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has amended the proforme of End Use Certificates (EUCs) for grant of permission for export of items under SCOMET Control List.
In a notification, DGFT said “Amendment in proforme of EUCs will capture technical details of product, specific end use and complete contact details of the end user, thereby facilitating expeditious end use / end user verification by the Government agencies and grant of export authorization for SCOMET items.”
The EUCs in prescribed proforme are to be filled by all the entities involved in the chain of supply e.g. foreign buyer / consignee / end user / intermediary (ies) on the letterhead of the respective entity, duly signed in ink and stamped by the authorized signatory of the company, it added.
In case of any additional sheet used along with the EUC, the same must be on the letterhead of the company and signed by the same person who signs the EUC, said Commerce Ministry’s arm DGFT.
