DGFT disallows issue of advance authorisation for export of gold medallions, coins, jewellery/articles

New Delhi, Sep 28 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has disallowed issue of advance authorisation where items of export are gold medallions and coins or any jewellery/articles manufactured by fully mechanised process.

In a notification, DGFT said “Advance Authorisation shall not be issued where items of export are gold medallions and coins or any jewellery/articles manufactured by fully mechanised process.”

Advance authorization is an order issued to endorse the import of duty-free inputs which are physically integrated into the export product.

From time to time, DGFT issues various notifications, circulars and trade notices with regard to exports, imports and trade to make required amendments.
