New Delhi, Apr 6 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified the scale of fee for application for reimbursement of benefits under Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA).

In a notification, Commerce Ministry’s arm DGFT said “Scale of Fee for application for reimbursement of benefits under TMA is Rs 1000.”

The Scheme would be applicable for a period as specified from time to time. Presently the scheme would be available for exports effected from 1 March 2019 to 31 March 2020.

Under the TMA scheme, the government would reimburse a certain portion of freight charges and provide assistance for marketing of agricultural produce.

The scheme covers freight and marketing assistance for export by air as well as by sea (both normal and refrigerated cargo). (KNN/YV)
