New Delhi, Aug 30 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has withdrawn the notification extending restriction on import of Peas till September 30, 2018.

The Commerce Ministry had extended the import restriction on peas (Pisum sativum) on July 2, 2018 up to September 30. The restriction on import of peas (Exim Code 0713 10 00) includes yellow peas, green peas, dun peas and kaspa peas.

A notification published on the DGFT website had said the notification of April 25 restricting imports for the period from April 1 to June 30 has been extended.

However, the directorate in a notification on Wednesday said, “Notification No 15 dated 02.07.2018 extending the restriction on import of peas classified under Exim Code 0713 10 00 till 30.09.2018, is withdrawn.” (KNN Bureau)
